vanssnow:

For their final day in Silverton, the girls took it to the streets for some urban shredding. The snow was coming down heavy and the tow-ins were tough, but with some solid stunt driving and the help of a back hoe, we made it happen. Hana found a little ledge to hit and Gabi built a big gap jump, and both girls got some shots for Hana’s “P.S.” Webisode series. Hanging out in Silverton is kinda like going back in time, and it was nice to step off the mountain and rally around town in the sanctity of a snowstorm.  Thanks to Hana, Gabi, Ben, and Meg for their hard work all week and check back for the edit in a couple weeks.

Forgive me for being overbearing by writing about snow all the time, but this whole cold weather thing is rather new to me, and is NEVER getting old. Well…Until the day I actually have to be the one who shovels the snow from off the sidewalk. Till then, I will forever be amazed by the big fluffy snow flakes that fall from the sky.

A girl can totally get used to these ‘snow days’ Boston has been having. I mean… I wouldn’t necessarily categorize them as that, seeing as I don’t have the day off when it snows, but none the less it’s been so magical walking out of my apartment and seeing all white! Given the beautiful background setting, I called Abigail (the marketing project manager for Miss KL) over for an impromptu photoshoot in some of my favorite Vans Girls holiday pieces. I’ve been dying over the new Glammed fashion top,  and the Cunning jacket has really been coming in handy on those 30 degree days. What are some of your favorite pieces from the Vans Girls holiday collection? -brittany

The best thing EVER happened to me the other day: It snowed. Forgive me for being a little silly, however when you’ve only seen snow once in your life, you tend to get a bit giddy the 2nd time around. Coming from Southern California, the chances of seeing a speck of snow are mostly slim to none, unless you make the venture to the mountains. Event then you’ve got to make sure you get there early enough before it turns to an icey slush. So when the opportunity came to make an actual snow angel, I grabbed my Vans Praire Boot and went to town! -brittany

Last week I spent in Mayrhofen for the Vans Wangle Tangle. I had a blast catching up with friends and the Vans crew. It was so hot over there! T-shit shred all round, first day though powder turns! rest of the week was blue bird skies and park laps.

Right now I am in Biarritz, and am just getting in the first surf of the year!
