I headed over to The Wiltern last night to catch Paramore’s LA show in support of their new album. It was a blast to see the band rocking with a full stage set up and an even more full house. I lost my voice singing along and screaming hellos to all the familiar faces over one of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard at an LA show. Thanks a ton to them for having us out and don’t miss it when they hit your city. Oh, and Rolling Stone also got a rad shot of Hayley rocking some serious sidestripe last night. Thanks dudes! -amanda

Went to The Wiltern in LA last night to catch Paramore’s set and had a rad surprise in their opener, Kitten. Chloe Chaidez was a ton of fun to watch on stage. They’ve got two EP’s out and are on tour throughout May so don’t miss out. Paramore photos coming up in a few as well! -amanda

The 2013 Vans Warped Tour kickoff party was last night in LA and it was a fun night full of touring friends and lots of great surprises on stage. The girls really stole the show last night with a mix of acoustic and full band sets from Charlotte Sometimes, Dia Frampton, Echosmith, Gin Wigmore, and Juliet Simms. We’ve known most of the girls from tours past but our new favorite find from the evening was Gin Wigmore. Check out her ridiculously fun video for Man Like That. Can’t wait to catch up with her on this summer’s tour. Photos by Rachel Clare. -amanda

We had a blast celebrating our collab with artist Curtis Kulig on Friday night in LA with Urban Outfitters at Space 15 Twenty. Thanks to The Cobra Snake for the photos, you can see more over on his site. Shop the Vans x Love Me collection and send some rad Valentine’s texts to your friends at vans.com/loveme -amanda

Got to catch up with our friend Meg Myers for her first live show in LA last night. Here’s a few quick photos to check out. Can’t wait until she plays some more shows! Be sure to check out her exclusive acoustic performance for us too. -amanda

On Saturday my friend Celina and I got a chance to check out the Transmission LA: AV Club exhibit curated by Mike D of the Beastie Boys at the MOCA in downtown LA. It was closing weekend and the place was packed out. Overall favorites definitely seemed to be the giant pinwheel creations by Jim Drain & Ara Peterson, the animated road trip room by Ben Jones which felt like you stepped into a life sized video game, and the floating neon effect created by Peter Coffin. If you missed out, they made An Insider’s Guide zine about the exhibit with photos and more info from the artists that you can check out. So glad we made it before this one came down. -amanda

Vans surf team rider Leila Hurst stopped by the office this morning to show us the rad custom kicks she made to promote Vans Custom Culture contest. Surfer by day, footwear designer by night? Leila’s a jack of all trades.

If you are a US high school student who’s into art, you can find out more about the contest at vans.com/customculture. The grand prize is $50,000 for your art program, and the top five schools will be flown to LA to hang out with us… so don’t pass this up!
