DIY: Skeleton Slip-Ons:

It’s a bit tricky when it comes to trying to figure out what sort of DIY to do on a pair of black Slip-Ons. Those who disagree, I welcome you to enlighten me. However, there’s actually been a DIY I’ve been dying to try: The Skeleton Slip-On. Though Halloween is quite some time away, that sure doesn’t mean these aren’t cute to wear all year-round!

What you need: A pair of Vans Slip-Ons , white paint (acrylic would do), a paint brush, a white pencil, and your talented hands!

1. Start out by sketching skeleton feet on your shoes. If you have a hard time doing this, look up some stencils of skeleton feet on Google to reference.
2. When you have completed sketching out your skeleton feet, it’s time to move onto the fun part! The paint! Begin filling in your sketches with the paint, gently. Remember, paint can run, so you want to make sure you’re being very very careful when applying. Also don’t want to get paint all over the place.
3. When you’ve applied your first layer of paint, you may notice that the color of the canvas is beginning to seep through, so it would be a good idea to reapply the paint as necessary.
4. Let dry for an hour - and you’re good to go! Be prepared to receive stares of jealous…I’ve already received my 5th today! -brittany
